Brentley Rae has done SO much from the 7th to 8th month! This has been by far the most developmental month that we have had. With that being said, this has been the most difficult for me. Alot of changes going on with her and I guess I could say some "growing pains" that go along with them.
Weight 20.5 lbs (the best I can tell on our scales)
Wearing mostly 9 months clothing
Size 3 diapers
Size 2 shoes
Eats great! Oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, vegetable and fruit for lunch, vegetable with meat and fruit for dinner. Also either 3 to 4 bottles during a 24 hr period.
Has her two bottom teeth
Crawls all over the place, loves to bear crawl
Can sit up from the lying down position
She would rather stand than sit ( think she maybe an early walker)
Pulls up on everything and will stand with a sturdy support
She says Momma! She has been babbling the m's, d's and b's for a while now but she actually uses "momma" when she sees me.
She loves to sit in the floor and play for hours at a time. I really like it too!
She also loves this mesh thing that we either put fruit or ice in it and it keeps her occupied for awhile too.
I'm sure there is more I may add later when I think of it but that's all for now.
So on to the "growing pains", this month she has reverted back to waking up 4,5,6 times at night. Yes, it's MUCH better this week, but I was not a happy camper the last several weeks. I guess it was her teething but I'm not really sure. She also has had some issues while staying with family. This too, has seemed to get better but it's not ever fun to hear that she has been screaming all day. This was mainly over a two day span but it was ALLDAY on those days while we were at work. She just wanted to get held and that was the only thing to get her to settle down. She would crawl and climb up legs to get picked up. Let me say, we do not hold her at home. So I don't believe that is the problem. Any suggestions???
With that being said, we are in the process of deciding what to do with her as far as childcare. It has gotten to the point where her being at work with me on a daily basis has gotten really difficult. At this point we are looking at MDO at a local church two days a week and looking for someone that keeps children in their home for two days, then I would be off on Fridays. I'm open for suggestions here too. If you know someone with good references in the Atoka area that keeps children, please let me know. I guess that's about it for now. Please feel free to comment and suggestions. I am open to ideas.
"Look everyone, I can pull myself up to be tall".
"I think I'm really funny too!"She always laughes with that wide open mouth. I can't imagine who see gets the dramatic stuff from!
