Show us where you live

I'm a follower of Kelly, at Kelly's Korner's blog and she is doing a "Where you live Friday". Each week she is posting different areas of her house and her "blog followers" are encouraged to participate. So here we go with the kitchen area (even though I am a couple of days late).

Here is a view of the "breakfast area" from the kitchen. (This picture just confirmed to me how much I desperately need a valance for the window!)
This cut glass window was a wedding gift from my parents to us as we built our house. I think it is my favorite thing in our kitchen.
