Not much going on around here!

We really don't have too much that has been going on around here. Rain, Rain, Rain! I guess all of the weeds in my flower beds need all the extra H2o! The flower beds are horrible to say the least! Paul was off from the fire station Friday and Saturday so we have been planning for weeks to get so much accomplished around the house (especially outside). So we got an "overnight" babysitter (Grandmother Rogers) and then "Aunt Chris" wanted some time with Brentley too, so she kept her Saturday. Needless to say, we had 22 hours of NO Brentley Rae! Woo Hoo!

Let me just tell you how exciting we are. We dropped her off at Grandmother's house, we went to do some business at our CPA, went and took pictures of some properties that I insure, got a quick bite to eat and headed home! (all before 7 pm) Some friends of ours called to ask us to come to a BBQ cooking contest, so we headed to the VFW in Millington (yes, I said the VFW!! Ha, ha!) It was raining of course so we didn't last too long. Got up about 8 o'clock Saturday (what is that about, NO BABY!) went to eat breakfast and back to bed at 9:30 to 1 o'clock! Needless to say we got NOTHING accomplished but alot of sleep! Aunt Christina brought Brentley Rae home about 2:15 and we have been lazy ever since. I know you are jealous with our exciting lives :)!

Other news! Brentley Rae started staying in the nursery at church. Here is a picture of "Kissy" and Luke in the nursery.

Ok, here is a random thought. I'm really not a big fan of shopping (which Paul is really proud of) but has anyone been to J.C. Penny's lately? I've never been a J.C. Penny's fan, until now! I know my mom is probably cringing, but I always "thought" I had to have all of the "name brand" stuff growing up. But ever since I began buying my own clothes, I'm quite the bargain shopper and JC Penny's now has the cutest little tops for a really good price. Better than the price, they are the cute tops that can be thrown into the dryer and not ironed. My Favorite!
