Sorry so Long!

Sorry it has been so long since I have last posted. It seems like time just slips away these days. I don't have any fun pictures because I left my camera at work over the long weekend. We had a great long Labor Day weekend. Since Paul has been a firefighter, this was his 1st holiday weekend to actually fall when he is on his four days off. He was able to get the entire nursery painted (yea) but now he has to figure out how to stripe it. Well he knows what he needs to do but we (or should I say he) just has to do it. Besides painting, he did alot of yard work on Friday.

Ok, that's all the work for the weekend. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Monday was the opening day of dove season. We went over to some friends house where the guys had a fish fry for lunch then "the guys" hunted all afternoon. Us girls stayed at the house and chatted until it was time for the TN game to come on. It was a very laid back weekend (I am loving laid back days more and more as this pregnancy continues).

Since I have last posted we have found out that my brother and his wife (Steve and Leslie) are having a BOY. We are REALLY excited!!! Leslie and I are 6 1/2 weeks apart and even though they don't live close to us, it's been fun to go through our pregnancies together.

As far as me and Brentley Rae, we are doing good. I have to take my gestantional diabeties test on Friday. (I hear it's nasty) She is quite the mover and shaker. It seems like she is doing backflips at certain times of the day.

Hopefully I won't wait so long to post next time. I hope you have a great week.
Love, The Rogers

Don't worry...the glucose test isn't that bad! I always heard that too and I didn't think it was a problem. You just drink this really sweet orange drink and wait an hour. You will be fine. Post pictures of the nursery!!! We did Jillian's in stripes and I still LOVE her room!

Wyatt's room is painted in stripes and we love it. I really did not like the glucose test because I was so extremely nauseated throughout my entire pregnancy that the thought of drinking an orange drink made me want to puke even more. I think if you do not have trouble with nausea you will do fine.
