Christmas Part 2

Christmas Eve we always go to Paul's parents house for fun times with family. After the (extended) family all goes home we open gifts with his parents and The Montgomery family (Paul's sister, Gary, and Evan). It usually ends up being a late night for all!

I'm not sure why but we only get a girl family shot each year! Maybe because we added two girls last year (Nora and Brentley) and Molly came this year.

This is the only picture I got of Brentley that night. I absolutely LOVED this dress (Ebay), it was kinda big on her so maybe we can squeeze into it next year too. It was about 1am when we finished exchanging gifts so Brentley spent the night at Grandmother and Granddaddy's. Paul had to work Christmas Day so we didn't have anything planned.

Well, she woke up at 3 am that night running fever. So this is how we spent our Christmas Day. (See Below) Keep in mind NOTHING is open and I was just so helpless. She ran 103.7 that day and it climbed to 104.6 at 3 am on Christmas night. Yes, I was a crazy mom that called the doctor at 3 am on Christmas (it was actually the 26th at that point)! We were in the after hours clinic first thing the next morning. Double ear infections can RUIN a Christmas, let me tell ya! (More on that later)

So we did our Christmas two days late. We usually do "Christmas morning breakfast" at my moms house the weekend before Christmas. This year we had some scheduling issues so we had to move it to our house.
