Brentley's Baptism

What a gratifying Mother's Day! I didn't even have to receive a gift at all for Mother's Day (even though I loved everything I received) but the greatest gift is kicked back in "dad's recliner". My facebook status says it all "I'm so thankful that God has blessed me with one of his children this Mother's Day." I have always told my mom "thank you" om Mother's day but it wasn't until this year I truly know what a blessing my mother is because she has taught me so much by example on how to be a "Mom".

Brentley Rae is kicked back waiting on us to get ready for church.
Family shot before church
Three generations
My grandmother, Momma Dot, bought Brentley Rae her dress. I was so sad that Momma Dot wasn't able to come for the baptism. (but for those keeping up with her, she is feeling better but we live a little far for early morning travels.)
She looked like she was paying attention to the sermon but it was just the stained glass window.

"Ah D" and "Grandmother Rogers" after service
I'm not sure why I look really mad in this picture, I guess I was nervous and didn't want to look at the audience. Obviously Brentley Rae didn't mind!
If she could just get her hands in that water
She loved it! Good thing she likes bath time.

At Last! Out of that dress and party time!

I'm not sure if you can tell in this picture, but she stuck her hand in the cake while we were trying to get her picture. Oh well, it was still good!
(check out "Life is Sweet" on my links for Felecia's cakes)
Ethan, hangin out with Brentley Rae. (look how her head is double his, and he is 5!!)
Auntie, reading her the book she got her for her baptism gift.
Another attempt of a family shot (Brittney, I so know what you mean about good shots are over!)

So Sweet!!

Looks like Brentley's baptism and Mother's Day was great! But don't talk about that beautiful, perfect baby's head!! When Katelyn was 9 months old, her head circumference measured off the growth charts, so she had to have an ultrasound of her head to make sure nothing was wrong. It was fine, of course, and now she has so much wild hair that no one knows she secretly has a big head!!! (until now, that is!) Have a great day!
