Friends for Dinner

When our nephew was little he would always want to have "friends for dinner" and that meant anyone other than mom and dad. He always helped to cook the "friends for dinner" meal. So Paul and I had "friends for dinner" meal the other night and the lucky guest you ask?

Brentley Rae.

We got out her sterling set that my grandmother gave her and her "baby dishes"

No, we don't eat on fine china at our house. This was for picture purposes only!

She did a really good job and didn't get too messy!
She REALLY liked the squash! Even though it doesn't look like it here.

Pardon my "boyish" highchair, but it was a bargain. If you know me, I LOVE bargains. I'm not a fan of garage sales (mainly because I'm not going to get up early to look for a deal). But while I was out walking one morning I saw a garage sale with ALOT of baby items, so I quickly went home to get my wallet and I got so much stuff. I knew I had to get several "play things" for my office since she is coming to work with me. I got a play pin, high chair, bassinet, swing and bouncy chair all for 100 dollars. It was great! Now the bassinet is the changing table for the office. So that is the story about my "boyish" high chair, hey it does the job!
