Brentley's First Easter

Even though it was a cold rainy day out today we were able to get a few pictures in before it came a downpour. Brentley was not on her best behavior while we were trying to get ready for church. Fussy, tired, hungry and it seemed to never end, but we made it to church on time. Our plans were to let her sit with us until the sermon started (because I have a hard time paying attention with a wiggle worm in my lap). But the nursery was really crowded so I just let her stay with us and she fell asleep in my lap sitting straight up. After church we went over to Paul's parents house and ate LOTS of food and enjoyed being with all of the cousins. It was really weird that we weren't rushing around from house to another for the holiday like normal. Since my grandmother has been so sick, mom decided it would be just too much to have Easter dinner at her house this year. Even though I missed being with my family this Easter, it was really nice to have a laid back evening just Paul and I (yes, Brentley too).

"Aunt Chris, I'm sorry you didn't get to see my Easter dress so my mom put it on me again"

Brentley with ALL her Easter gifts (NO! the Easter bunny didn't bring all of this!)
"Thank you to my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents for all my neat stuff"
The Easter bunny brought her a special basket that has her name monogrammed on it and a couple of "Praise Baby" videos, pacifiers, and new formula container (ha, it sounds like mom needed that!)

This was her attitude all morning!
Attempting to get a family shot
There were like 4 cameras and we were all looking the wrong way except Brentley! (I think this is the only picture she actually looked at the camera)

"Ok I've never seen an egg this big"
Nora and Brentley (they are so done with the picture taking)
Yeah, I know, she still looks just like her dad!

I found your blog through Kelly's...I was looking at the people who follow hers and saw your husband's bright orange shirt in the picture and thought "I bet they're from TN!" :) We live in Murfreesboro.

Your little girl is adorable...I love her dress!
