Her first nap in her crib
On Thanksgiving morning we had two great accomplishments; first time sleeping through the night and losing her umbilical cord. I was so upset when I realized that it was almost 5 am when I woke up and she hadn't gotten up yet. I ran in her room and literally had to shake her to wake her up to eat. The first of many scares!Brentley and I had our first outing without dad last Sunday. We went to Ah-D and Granddaddy Mark's house in Olive Branch to meet her cousin Darby. Leslie (my sister in law) is due soon, we can't wait to meet our new baby boy.

Our first crafts project. Putting her feet impression in a mold for her Christmas ornament
She had her first bath and actually didn't even scream. I think she may have even liked it.

Daddy taught her how to hold her own bottle. If you look closely, her hand is just propping it up, but Paul said it's her new trick.
Brentley's first trip to church. It was soooo cold out so we decided to go with an outfit for warmth rather than the cutesy pretty dress. She did pretty well, considering it was in the middle of feeding time.
Usually she is sitting in my lap feeding while I'm on the computer

Can you tell who gets the father and husband of the year award??!! Paul has been so great with Brentley and helping me. Since I'm overwhelmed with how much time it's taking for me to breastfeed and pump (I'm not producing alot so I'm hooked her or the pump every hour) Paul steps in and does so much with her. I'm so sad that he will go back to the fire station this week but I'm so thankful that he has been off with us since Brentley's birth. Thanks Dad!!!

what a great post! You sure seem to have everything down, and also to have the best baby daddy around ever! Paul is awesome. And Brentley seems so chilled. Seriously. Good Job Court.
