Sorry I'm just now posting the grandparents part of this "baby news". Mom was in the hospital when we told my parents so the news came at a great time for mom to feel better soon, and she is still working on getting better each day. After we left the hospital we met Paul's parents for lunch. We gathered at his mom's office before lunch and we gave them their surprise. As many of you know both of our parents have been waiting (some patiently and some not so patiently {mom}) for more grandchildren. They are really excited and we are going to take advantage of ALL THE LOVE AND BABYSITTING they have to offer!!! :)

Mom telling Momma Dot on the phone Mom feeling a little better, at least her spirits!

Then on to Millington Telephone with tell the Grandmother and Grandaddy Rogers.

We gave each of our parents the following poem from Baby Rogers.
I do not have a face to see,
or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss;
I don't yet have a name.
You can't hold my tiny hands,
nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song,
or cuddle me so near.
But all will change come December 3rd
when they say I'm due.
I'm your new grandson or granddaughter;
I can't wait till I meet you.
All I ask between now and then is your patience while I grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait,
because of all the love we'll know.
So as you're waiting patiently,
So as you're waiting patiently,
please pray lots of prayers for me.
I cannot wait to be a part of this wonderful family
Love,
Baby Rogers
Love,
Baby Rogers

what a great poem. You should definitely keep a copy of that to put in baby rogers baby book. Or even in a frame on the wall. :) Love it! Oh and I will be expecting you to go ahead and start taking belly pics. Trust me you will want to have those too.Before you know it, you will be amazed at how you grow.
